The #1 Bestselling series, with over 400 five star reviews on !
NIGHT OF THE BOLD is book #6—and the final installment—in Morgan Rice’s bestselling epic fantasy series KINGS AND SORCERERS (which begins with RISE OF THE DRAGONS, a free download)!
In NIGHT OF THE BOLD, Kyra must find a way to free herself from Marda and return to Escalon with the Staff of Truth. If she does, awaiting her will be the most epic battle of her life, as she will need to face off against Ra’s armies, a nation of trolls, and a flock of dragons. If her powers, and the weapon, are strong enough, her mother awaits her, ready to reveal the secrets of her destiny, and of her birth.
Duncan must make an epic stand against Ra’s armies once and for all. Yet even as he fights the greatest battles of his life, leading to a final stand in The Devil’s Gluch, he cannot expect the dark trickery that Ra has awaiting him.
In the Bay of Death, Merk and King Tarnis’ daughter must join forces with Alec and the warriors of the Lost Isles to fight off the dragons. They must find Duncan and unite to save Escalon, yet Vesuvius has resurfaced, and they cannot anticipate the treachery awaiting them.
In the epic finale to Kings and Sorcerers, the most dramatic battles, weapons and sorcery all lead to a breathtaking, unexpected conclusion, filled with both heartbreaking tragedy and inspiring re-birth.
With its strong atmosphere and complex characters, NIGHT OF THE BOLD is a sweeping saga of knights and warriors, of kings and lords, of honor and valor, of magic, destiny, monsters and dragons. It is a story of love and broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is fantasy at its finest, inviting us into a world that will live with us forever, one that will appeal to all ages and genders.
“If you thought that there was no reason left for living after the end of the Sorcerer’s Ring series, you were wrong. Morgan Rice has come up with what promises to be another brilliant series, immersing us in a fantasy of trolls and dragons, of valor, honor, courage, magic and faith in your destiny. Morgan has managed again to produce a strong set of characters that make us cheer for them on every page.…Recommended for the permanent library of all readers that love a well-written fantasy.”

Night of the Bold Kings and Sorcerers—Book 6 eBook Morgan Rice
I liked the story in each of the books. There is a lot of action and at least the heroine isn't a complete idiot fumbling through the book. The one thing that truly was bothersome is the writer forgot how many people were riding on a single horse, or great weapons that had been lost I a fight would suddenly appear in the next scene without any indication of how they returned to the warrior. Additionally mistaken names were used in place of the character that was being talked about. There were many inconsistencies throughout these books.
There is no time frame reference and no one ever eats. Basic needs are not met making the story unbelievable.
The animals and some of the characters are unbelievable as they follow no evolutionary path to reach the an animal the are is. A horse that grazes yet has fangs? For what purpose? At least the horse thing should have evolved into a carnivore.
Much and many of the characters were truly flawed and were unbelievable. The rest of major characters were vague at best. It was hard to see them interact because there was not enough description given to see them in your mind.
I will not bother to read any more from this author

Night of the Bold Kings and Sorcerers—Book 6 eBook Morgan Rice Reviews
SPOILER Yes, I finished the series. I'm just that way with series, good or bad read. Anyway, this series threw me off kilter, left and right, up and down. The near death experiences for every character at the end of every chapter drove me nuts. There were too many characters at play that I felt like Kyra and Kyle never got to really know each other. He was inlove with her, just like that. No meat in their story. Hello! The Troll King that just won't die despite nearly dying in every scene! There were bizarre characters too that just made an appearance out of nowhere like Soltis. The plot was there and started great, but it became overkill throughout the series. Three stars because I like Morgan Rice and her Of Crowns and Glory.
The story itself deserves five stars, but I gave it a four because of all the problems with it.
This six book series could have been condensed into four. The story jumped around so much that many times it was hard to remember who was who. Every chapter ended with the characters never catching a break, but always winning. It was exhausting to read. The descriptive fighting got to be way too much by book five.
The one thing that bothered me the most, and many other reviewers have stipulated, was the lack of attention and care the author gave to the series. It was as if those of us reading her books on a weren’t as important than those who bought the physical book. The typos and inconsistencies were atrocious! It’s mind boggling that a professional writer would take such little pride in her work to allow this to be electronically published. I sure hope the printed version was proofread and edited. It was a good read, but I’m glad it’s over.
The Kings and Sorcerers book series by Morgan Rice has the possibility of being a great series.
This six-book fantasy series is full of many well-developed characters, fantastically crafted settings, a well thought out story flow, and some great and we'll written action scences.
That being said, it misses its sought after possible greatness as a series, and the ability to lull the reader into that all important reading nirvana simply because it could use editing. It is such a shame too. I truly believe that this could be a best seller in my ratings.
What are the issues that marr this from becoming stupendous? (I offer this with great respect.) There are the usual extra words, wrong word order, or wrong word tense (things I would consider minor fixes), along with dialogue that's a tad stiff, but then you have the wrong character name inserted into a scene (incredibly detracting), and scenes where characters use another character's name, when you know there's been no way that character should/would/could know that particular characters name as there's been no meeting or interaction (this happens with the Dragon's name too) between them or possible way they could know that character's name; but there was also a scene in book four where a character had a magic net thrown over him and was captured by the troll leader before the end of that book (Kyle), and then in book five when we revisit this character it's as if it had never happened very confusing.
The multi-character story flowed so smoothly, and has great potential, so much so that I truly wish for it to achieve the aclaim that it deserves. I would happily re-read and re-review this fantastic series once it has been run through another indepth editing. I look forward to more from this imaginative author.
I had to force myself to finish this series. I was disappointed with the quality of the writing and formulaic pattern employed by the author. There were numerous errors such as referring to a character by the wrong name and totally ignoring threads that were created (e.g. Kyle is captured by the trolls and he is suddenly free and the capture is never mentioned again). The author pays no attention to reality or the laws of nature Armies do not stop to camp. Horses can gallop all not. They march across continents in hours apparently. The enemy is always 10's of thousands. All the characters are constantly about to die when there is some miraculous intervention to save them. Battles with thousands of combatants end in an hour. It is tiring. I did think the characters were good. I just wish more attention was paid to the laws of nature.
I liked the story in each of the books. There is a lot of action and at least the heroine isn't a complete idiot fumbling through the book.
